SUMMARY:Women in Science and Technology Series: Pathways (and stumbling blocks) to Success in Science
DESCRIPTION:Anne Carpenter\, PhD\, Principal Investigator\, Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT will present “Pathways (and stumbling blocks) to success in science”\nWith a strong background in cell biology\, microscopy\, and computational biology\, Anne leads a team of computer scientists and biologists to develop advanced methods to quantify and mine the rich information present in microscopy images. Her team helps biologists to apply these methods to significant questions in the biomedical sciences. She and her team created and maintain the popular open-source software for high-throughput biological image analysis\, CellProfiler. \nRSVP here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdDjk1XhJfaulTxaXB1WZ1m3dmhwy2RybsfAVI_Tahlt4GvWg/viewform?c=0&w=1
